Week 11 Waiver Wire Targets for College Fantasy Football

Not going to waste much time on the build-up here — it will be the same set up as last week. Players are trending upwards and stringing together multiple good weeks.

Quarterbacks

Skylar Thompson – Kansas St – 21 percent owned

Listen folks, this young man was on this list last week and produces in a big way again. His rushing totals give him a very safe floor and his upcoming schedule is nothing to be afraid of.

Last two games – 342 passing yards along with 166 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.

John Rhys Plumlee – Ole Miss – 9 percent owned

This guy has been great in the last two full games he has played. He is definitely a run-first type of quarterback and that’s perfectly fine when you get as many attempts as he does. Plumlee gets New Mexico State next week and should run wild.

Last two full games – 189 passing yards and two touchdowns along with 235 rushing yards and three more scores.

Running Backs

George Holani – Boise St – 10 percent owned

This kid has taken over the backfield at Boise and it doesn’t look like he is going to let go of it any time soon. His playoff schedule looks fantastic as well.

Last two games – 48 carries, 223 rushing yards, and four touchdowns.

Timothy Jackson – Air Force – 4 percent owned

Now, I typically don’t want anything to do with any triple-option running back, but this guy is as steady as they come. He has had four straight games with over 110 rushing yards and five straight games with a touchdown.

Last two games – 55 carries, 303 rushing yards, and two touchdowns.

Marcel Murray, Arkansas State, 42 percent owned

With Murray’s ownership so close to 50 percent I typically wouldn’t have added him but you need to make absolutely sure he’s not on your waiver wire. He is an absolute must start from here on out.

Last two games – 44 carries, 289 rushing yards, and five touchdowns.

Wide Receivers

Dillon Stoner – Oklahoma St – 6 percent owned

This player is on my list for one reason only, and that’s because superstar wide receiver Tylan Wallace will miss the remainder of this season with a torn ACL. Stoner seems to be the guy to fill the role after this past week’s performance. He’s worth an add in all leagues.

Last game – three catches, 93 receiving yards, and two touchdowns.

CJ Johnson – ECU – 3 percent owned

Man-o-man did this kid have a freaking game this past weekend. He had 12 catches on 20 targets; no this is not a misprint. He has been very consistent with no less than 85 yards in the last four weeks.

Last two games – 17 catches, 368 receiving yards, and one touchdown.

Lucky Jackson – Western Kentucky – 24 percent owned

Hopefully this week you will listen to me folks. Lucky Jackson is one of,  if not, the hottest receiver in the country right now with three straight games over 140 receiving yards.

Last two games – 25 catches, 362 yards, and one touchdown.

Just a reminder folks that the fantasy playoffs are right around the corner. If you have some bench players that aren’t totally necessary to keep, start looking around for the best playoff matchups. Stay ahead of your opponents and don’t wait until the week of, scoop them up the week before.

Good luck everyone!
