Waiver-Wire Must Adds: College Football

The waiver wire is one of the most important pieces to being successful in college fantasy football. In this article, we will be covering guys who are less than 50 percent owned, according to Fantrax.

Memphis quarterback, Brady White — 38 percent owned

White had a slow Week 1 in a snooze fest against Ole Miss. He was back to form last week against an FCS opponent and threw for 337 yards and 2 scores.

USC quarterback, Keydon Slovis — eight percent owned

Taking over for injured star-quarterback JT Daniels, Slovis looked fantastic, throwing for 377 yards and three touchdowns. He is worth a stash to see if this continues, due to the fact that he is surrounded by talent.

Michigan running back, Zach Charbonnet — 39 percent owned

Harbaugh seems like he is going to slip back into running the dive play 7,000 times a game. Charbonnet may not have locked down the RB1 spot just yet, but he’s clearly the best back they have. He should be rostered in all leagues to see how it shakes out.

Louisville running back, Javian Hawkins — seven percent owned

Hawkins has had back-to-back 120+ yard rushing games — one of which was against Notre Dame. He’s the clear lead-back and I think the touchdowns are coming for him once they get into conference play.

USC running back, Vavae Malepeai — 17 percent owned

USC is breaking-in a new freshman quarterback. This typically means they will lean more on the running game and Malepeai has looked the part so far with 173 yards and three scores.

Wake Forest wide receiver, Scotty Washington — 17 percent owned

Listen folks, Wake Forest is going to sling the football all over the place. Washington is 6-foot-5, 225 lbs, and will be targeted often in the offense. He needs to be picked up in all leagues.

Ball State wide receiver, Riley Miller — 30 percent owned

Miller had a rough Week 1 and a lot of teams dropped him. Go get him right now! He’s the team’s number one target and put up a nice game in Week 2 with six catches, 116 yards, and two touchdowns. He must be rostered ASAP.

Texas wide receiver, Devin Duvernay — 37 percent owned

Duvernay has absolutely balled out this season and is living up to his hype coming out of high school. So far this season, he’s had 21 catches for 209 yards and three scores. The Texas offense seems to be flowing through him in the passing game.
