Tottenham Hotspur won by a score-line of 4-0 this past weekend against relegated Sheffield United. Now with the potential of Champions League football, Spurs will turn their focus to the weekend as they face off against Leeds United away on Saturday at 7:30am EST.
Spurs were out for blood this past weekend as they took on Sheffield United at home. Gareth Bale was able to secure his first Premier League hat trick since 2012 as he has really proven his valor over the spell of this loan. Son was able to bag a goal and assist to take him to a double-double season.
All eyes will be on Elland Road when Leeds United and Tottenham face each other in the Premier League round 35. The Whites aim to bounce back from a loss to Brighton which reduced their Europa League hopes, but they will have a big fish to fry in Saturday’s clash. Liam Cooper remains on the sidelines through suspension, while both Adam Forshaw and Raphinha are out of contention through injuries.
Spurs aim to keep their Champions League hopes alive, and seeing that they want this win more than the hosts, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the visiting team. Ben Davies remains on the sidelines through injury, but he should be the only absentee in the away side.
Predicted Lineup and Outcome
Ryan Mason will want to encourage consistency for the remainder of this PL run-in, so we have a few in mind that will remain in the lineup.
Mason will likely line up attacking, which is bound to make for a scrappy match. I see regulars Hojbjerg and Lo Celso lining up alongside Dele this weekend.
We can expect four at the back to fill in the formation, and I think Alderweireld will come back with Dier, Aurier, and Reguilon filling out the rest.
With Bale being in superb form right now, we will see him stacked at the top with Son and Kane.
Tottenham predicted XI (4-3-3): Lloris; Reguilon, Alderweireld, Dier, Aurier; Højbjerg, Dele, Lo Celso; Bale, Kane, Son.
The Wrap Up:
After a really exciting week Spurs will be looking to push for Top 4 by taking 3 points in a must win match.
