It’s that time of the year again. The 2021 IIHF World Championship is scheduled to take place from May 21st to June 6th 2021 co-hosted by Minsk, Belarus and Riga, Latvia. Last year’s tournament was cancelled due to the pandemic so Team Canada has some vengeance to take care of here. In recent weeks, Hockey Canada has announced that former NHL goaltender, Roberto Luongo will be the GM of the team while former NHL coach, Gerard Gallant will be the Head Coach. But who are the players playing, that’s for me to predict in this article.

Possible Players:

Anaheim Ducks:

F – Max Comtois

F – Sam Steel

G – Martin Jones

Vancouver Canucks:*if they don’t qualify for Playoffs*

This is all predictions and guessing but the Hockey Canada staff along with GM Roberto Luongo don’t have a whole lot of great talent to choose from. Some young legs and bodies yes but, do they have what it takes to win? We will find out once the puck is dropped.
