In this series of articles, we take a look at the top three players this past week from NHL fantasy. These top three players are going to include forwards, defenseman and goaltenders, but not each every week, just whoever has the most points at the end of the week in whatever position.

3. Drake Batherson, Ottawa Senators, RW

3 GP, 3 G, 2 A, 5 PTS, + 0, 1 PPG, 2 PPA, 0 GWG, 5 SOG

It’s about time the Senators got some notice this season and boy did Batherson become noticeable this past week. The 22 year old had five points in three games while also scoring a goal per game with just five shots on goal which is impressive.

2. Mats Zuccarello, Minnesota Wild, RW

4 GP, 2 G, 6 A, 8 PTS, + 6, 0 PPG, 1 PPA, 0 GWG, 9 SOG

Zuccarello has been on fire to start his 2021 campaign recording 11 points in just seven games. The Wild have been on a run recently and this is because of the great play from Zuccarello and others chipping in. Hopefully this is maintainable for Zucc and he can help his team make the playoffs.

1. Andrei Vasilevskiy, Tampa Bay Lightning, G

GP 3, 3 W, 0 L, .975 SV%, 0.67 GAA, 2 SO, 79 SVS

The cat is back on the list again coming in at the number one slot. Vasilevskiy had an unreal week basically letting in zero goals and carrying his club to three victories. Another Vezina in his sights at the end of the season is very possible for the netminder of the Lightning.
