In this series of articles, we take a look at the top three players this past week from NHL fantasy. These top three players are going to include forwards, defenseman and goaltenders, but not each every week, just whoever has the most points at the end of the week in whatever position.

3. Andrei Vasilevskiy, Tampa Bay Lightning, G

3 GP, 3 W, 0 L, .947 SV%, 1.34 GAA, 71 SVS

The Cat, Andrei Vasilevskiy was awesome for the Bolts this past fantasy week posting a 3-0 record with unreal goalie stats included in there. Look for Vasilevskiy to start many more games in the next couple of weeks with maybe some nights off but, he is playing great right now and you don’t want to ruin this run.

2. Alex DeBrincat, Chicago Blackhawks, LW

3 GP, 4 G, 2 A, 6 PTS, + 4, 1 PPG, 0 PPA, 2 GWG, 17 SOG

The other cat on the list is none other than Alex DeBrincat from the Blackhawks. He had a pretty big week recording six points in three games including an OT winner against the Dallas Stars Sunday night. If the Blackhawks are going to stand out at all this year it’s going to include him playing well.

1. David Pastrnak, Boston Bruins, RW

3 GP, 5 G, 2 A, 7 PTS, + 3, 2 PPG, 1 PPA, 17 SOG

Well … David Pastrnak did not miss a beat. Pastrnak enters his first full week in the NHL after being injured to start the season and was dominating right from the jump. His seven points in three games was impressive, but he potted a hatrick against the Flyers Wednesday night with ease, which is fair to say that he is back and ready to rock.
