Players to Add This Week

Jesus Aguilar (MIA)

So far, Aguilar is having a nice bounce back campaign for the Miami Marlins. His power numbers aren’t there from a few seasons ago but he is knocking in runs with 17 RBI already on the year. Aguilar is also walking more than he strikes out right now.

Fantasy Advice: While the Marlins are not an offensive juggernaut, Aguilar is the main piece of that offence right now and does possess extra-base power. Aguilar is owned in 25% of Yahoo fantasy leagues.

Raimel Tapia (COL)

Tapia, along with Story and Blackmon, are the main sources of the offence for the terrible Rockies. With their GM resigning today, the clock is ticking if Story and Blackmon are on the move. Capitalize on Tapia while those two players are still on the team.

Fantasy Advice: Tapia has been hot as of late as he is 8/18 with one HR and five RBI in the last week. Tapia is only owned in 33% of Yahoo Fantasy Leagues.

Adam Frazier (PIT)

Frazier has been a hitting machine early on this season. The Pirates like the Rockies are not good this year but they are getting contributions from their lineup and 29 year-old Frazier is one of them.

Fantasy Advice: Frazier is not known for his power but if you’re in a league that likes guys that can get base hits and walk, Frazier is worth a pickup. Frazier is only owned in 37% of Yahoo Fantasy Leagues.

Player to Drop This Week

Patrick Corbin (WSH)

Patrick Corbin’s stock is somewhat surprising. One of the better left-handed pitchers a few years ago, Corbin has really struggled the last year and is currently one of the worst pitchers in the league.

Fantasy Advice: Corbin has been dropping a lot in fantasy leagues because of how bad he blows up this season. Corbin has currently accumulated -5.10 fantasy points. Even the most patient fantasy owners have to cut him loose.

Notable Injuries in Last Week

Brett Anderson (MIL) – 10 Day IL (Updated: April 24th)

Juan Soto (WSH) – 10 Day IL due to a Shoulder injury (Updated: April 25th)
