Players to Add This Week

Miguel Rojas (MIA)

Miguel Rojas has had a solid start to the season in 2021 as he is now leading off the lineup of the Marlins. Rojas is not a home run hitter but his speed allows him to get doubles and the potential to steal a base here and there.

Fantasy Advice: Rojas is currently batting .285 and is also getting on base at a good clip with thirteen walks so far this season. Rojas is owned in 35% of Yahoo fantasy leagues.

Wade Miley (CIN)

Obviously ranked high in most leagues right now due to tossing a no-hitter this past week, it is still worth picking up Miley due to a number of underperforming pitchers so far this year. Miley is not a strikeout machine but he does get outs and has only given up eight ER so far this year.

Fantasy Advice: Miley has so far pitched 36.0 innings and has accumulated twenty-seven Ks while only giving up eight walks. Miley induces weak contact and does not let guys get on base easily. Miley is owned in 52% of Yahoo Fantasy Leagues.

Avisail Garcia (MIL)

With the injury to Christian Yelich, Garcia has played well for the most part and has been heating up as of late. Garcia is currently batting .270 and is more of a singles hitter getting on base with regularity.

Fantasy Advice: With the Brewers being cautious with Yelich, Garcia will continue to produce in his current spot in the lineup. Garcia is only owned in 18% of Yahoo Fantasy Leagues.

Player to Drop This Week

Tyler O’Neill (STL)

The Cardinals have tried to be patient with O’Neill as he has potential. However, his recent cold streak as of late has forced manager Mike Shildt to remove him from the lineup recently.

Fantasy Advice: O’Neill is batting .240 this year, not bad but not where he should be at. O’Neill provides some home run pop but unfortunately he is not consistent enough at the dish as he has 27 strikeouts compared to two walks. As a result O’Neill’s OBP is very poor.
