Everyone has their own way of betting nowadays. I, for one, am a huge fan of betting the home dog, but more importantly, I love slapping down some money on the Over/Under.

Just a quick insight on my gambling history; I live in the great state of Delaware where full on sports betting is completely legal — except on local college teams. But up until then, we could only do NFL Parlays. Being that I love betting on over/unders and have a boatload of history on playing parlays, this is the start of a weekly article where I give you a six-game NFL/CFB parlay.

Kansas City vs Jacksonville- Over 52.5

I know, Jacksonville should have a killer defense, but that Kansas City offense is too powerful for Jalen Ramsey and co. to handle. Not to mention, Jacksonville now has a decent quarterback in Nick Foles — one year wonder — and Dede Westbrook is a ton of experts’ sleeper receiver this season. Kansas City will score at least 40 points in the game alone. Take the over.

Baltimore vs Miami- Over 38.5

The lowest over/under for all the NFL games this week, and honestly it’s easy to see why. Many people are skeptical in Baltimore’s run-first offense led by Lamar Jackson and Miami is secretly embracing the tank after trading away their best lineman and their second best receiver in Laremy Tunsil and Kenny Stills. Even with the skepticism, if the points are this low, ALWAYS take the over.

Los Angeles Rams vs Carolina- Under 50.5

Cam Newton completely changed his throwing motion this offseason and Todd Gurley is rumored to have arthritis in his knee. The best offensive player on each team is getting doubts from everyone this season. Not to mention the Rams have the greatest defensive player in football with Eric Weddle … I mean Aaron Donald. I know they say “life’s too short to bet the under,” but we’re all going to die anyway, so just listen to me.

Ohio State vs Cincinnati- Over 55.5

First off, I hate Ohio State more than everything else I hate combined. But, Justin Fields looked like the real deal in the first half of last week. I also hate Cincinnati and especially their coach Luke Fickell for trying to blame James Hudson’s immediate eligibility waiver getting declined on Jim Harbaugh. More importantly though, it’s a top-five football team hosting an overrated mid-major. Run it up, Ryan Day.

West Virginia vs Missouri- Under 64.5

I’ll keep it simple here, both of these teams STINK. West Virginia almost lost to FCS powerhouse, James Madison at home and Missouri started off the season literally the dumbest way ever — by traveling to Wyoming just to lose. Both of these teams will have the opportunity to score, but will ultimately fail because they stink. Not just normal stink either, this is your video game boss level stink.

Louisiana State vs Texas- Under 56.5

My co-host, Kevin and frequent guest of our podcast, Sam (Campus to Campus, make sure you subscribe rate and review), would kill me if they saw me take the Under in this game. But you know what, they had their arguments on the podcast and now it’s my turn to talk. Texas’ offense won’t be able to move the ball against that LSU secondary and LSU’s offense will revert back to their old ways and struggle on prime time. Jamarcus Russell isn’t walking through those purple doors. This is going to be your typical ugly looking, low-scoring game that will keep us on the edge of our seats until the final whistle.

If you have any other over/unders you like, or you just do happen to like my advice and do these bets, tweet them to me. I’m @UncleJesse___ (that’s 3 underscores). Also send them to @The_BRKDWN.
